Native plants and those planted to benefit local pollinators are a vital part of your yards ecosystem.
While many of our flowering plants, herbs, medicinals and fruit trees benefit pollinators of all types, these are non-edible varieties that are planted primarily to attract pollinators, act as host plants for their breeding, or benefit them by providing habitat and food.
This list is in no way exhaustive, as South Florida is home to many different types of native plants, and almost anything that makes nectar in its flower can be considered pollinator-friendly. Over the years we have worked with these varieties the most and consider this a list of our favorites.
